Privacy Policy — Decant & Doomblock

This policy covers two personal apps:

• Decant (com.sgjlee.decant) — filtered web views for social platforms
• Doomblock (com.sgjlee.present) — Screen Time shields and commitment unlocks

What we collect

Neither app sells data, runs ads, or uses third-party analytics SDKs.

Decant

• On device only: filter preferences, session durations, posts-seen counts, and optional onboarding answers (age / hours) stored in app storage and, when available, the App Group group.com.sgjlee.present so Doomblock can score lite sessions.
• Network: loads the websites you open (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) in a WKWebView. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Decant does not operate a backend that receives your browsing content.

Doomblock

• On device only: blocker state, scores, streaks, quests, and which apps/websites you selected to shield (Family Controls tokens), stored in the App Group.
• Screen Time / Family Controls: used solely to apply and remove shields you configure. Apple processes this under the Screen Time system; Doomblock does not upload selection tokens to a developer server.
• No account: there is no sign-in.

Data sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising or tracking. Data may leave the device only:

1. Through the social sites you visit inside Decant (standard web traffic to those sites).
2. If you use Apple services (iCloud backup, App Store), subject to Apple’s policies.

Retention

Data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Uninstalling removes the local store; App Group data is removed when no remaining app in the group uses it.

Children’s privacy

The apps are not directed at children under 13. Do not use them if you are under 13.

Your choices

• Revoke Screen Time access for Doomblock in Settings → Screen Time.
• Delete either app to remove its local data.
• In Decant, disable platforms or filter rules in Settings.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
